Q. How long is my valuation for?
A. Your valuation is valid for 36 hours or until your agreed appointment, whichever is sooner.
Q. Do you buy vehicles without the V5C document (log book)?
A. In most cases Car 4 Cash will buy your vehicle that does not have a v5 registration document (log book) or is not in your name, subject to other relevant checks such as the HPI check. Each separate purchase will be looked at individually. Payment may be withheld until we have documentation or ID that is required.
Q. How will I be paid?
A. Payment for vehicles to the seller is by cash or by instant bank transfer.
Q. Do you come to me or do I come to you?
A. You come to our nearest office to you, please consult our ‘locations page for details‘
When you accept our offer one of our team will simply pay you within 5 minutes, However if you cannot see us, we will come to you at a convenient time for you to buy your vehicle.
Q. Can I tell you about any defects on my car before I get my valuation?
A. Although there isn’t an option to list any faults on the website, a fair inspection is carried out by our Team when we inspect your car. If any defects are found, the original offer will be revised and explained to you in full. You are under no obligation to accept our offer, although we do fully expect you to be happy with our fair valuation and offer the best price with the intention of buying your vehicle. If you’d like to speak to someone in our office about the condition of your vehicle before you come to see us, we are always happy to take your call and work 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm. You can call us anytime with any queries.
Q. Can I keep my cherished number plate when I sell my car?
A. Yes, you can. You need to contact the DVLA to transfer your vehicle back to its original number plate. They will need your V5C document and the process can take several weeks. Please contact them to start the process before you ask us for a valuation. You will need your V5C document returned from the DVLA in order for us to buy your vehicle.
